I started at 162 lbs in March '04, wearing size 14 jeans and large tops. It took about 10 months for me to get to 125 lbs and into a size 8 jean and small tops. Over the past year I have been gaining and losing 5-10 lbs, and maintaining at different times. I now weigh 120 and can wear 6's.

Good luck, just stick with it.

I started Atkins on October 26 2005. I weighed about 208 + then, size 16 pants, and size 20 or XXL shirts. I have gone down to 186 pounds, and wearing size 10 pants, and L shirts, no X's My dream goal is to get down under 150 pounds, and into (comfortably) size 6 jeans.
DH has lost 40 pounds since the first of November, gone from size 38 pants to a size 34 waist.

I'm a slow loser--on an insulin pump--so don't let my stats discourage you. I'm 5'4" and was 210 when I started in May, 2004. I wore a tight 18, sometimes 20. Now I'm 143 and have just moved into size 8 pants and skirts.

I started on my birthday, January 9 of this year. I am 5'8, and at my last physical, weighed in at 164. I wore size 12 pants quite snugley -- I don't like snugley--- so now I weigh 158 and my size 12 are getting quite loose. My goal is 145 and back down to my size 10 jeans still hanging in my closet when I went on adkins two years ago. It works --- just slipped a tad--- but I am back and going strong!!!

I'm 5'8" tall and started my journey April 2004 at 274 lbs and a size 22/24.....and a very unhappy 55 yr old woman.
I hit Onederland in Feb 2005 and a size 16.

It took me 15 months, July 2005, to lose 100 lbs, at which point I was into a size 14 and very happy!

I hit my goal weight of 160 in Dec. 2005 and a size 10...and even more happy!! I plan to lose another 5 lbs.

All in all, it took me 20 months to lose 114 lbs and get to goal!!
