I did it! I am now at the point where I can go 12 hours after waking without solid food, and I wasn't hungry.

5AM to 5PM ~ V8 Juice, Chicken Broth, 1/2 c milk & coffee
5PM to 9PM ~ Big Salad w/vinegar & olive oil, Tuna Salad on Whole Grain Club Roll, Dill Pickles, and for dessert, Organic Yougurt with Maple Syrup with walnuts and fresh giant blackberries mixed in. Oh Yum, was that ever good!

I purchased the club roll at an Amish store, so it was homemade and preservative free. It was incredible. The only item in the above menu that had preservatives or additives, was the dill pickle.

I slept like a rock for the first time in months. Today, I feel WONDERFUL!

Hi Meplus1! The book tells you to have a protein snack after you exercise, so you are getting that absolutely correct. You are also more vigourous in your exercise than I am, sitting there at my desk from 7 to 3!
I think you're doing awesome, and you don't have very far to go to hit goal.

I'm proud of ya!!

When ya get to be my age, you'll need a JACKHAMMER to move 'em!

I think I'll spend some time today figuring out the calories and carbs in yesterday's food, for informational purposes only. The original Warrior Diet says to not count anything, but I've ordered the Warrior Diet Fat Loss Program Book, and it's on backorder until April 1st!

Note to Forum: If there is anyone out there that has read the Fat Loss Program Book, PLEASE, come forward!!

I did the nutrional analysis on Fit Day, and I'm eating between 1500 & 1550 calories per day...which breaks down to 90 grams of Protein, 70 grams of Fat, and 100 grams Carbohydrates. (There is no fiber figured into the Carb count).
I think those are some healthy looking numbers, and yesterday I did not eat anything with artifical sweener, artifical flavor, or perservatives. I'm really fortunate because organic food is abundant and inexpensive in my area. We raise our own beef, so no hormone's or antibiotic's are used.

I also calculated my calorie requirements using gender, age, and height and I only require 1850 calorie's to maintain. (Remember, that I'm a touch older that most of y'all!) Soooooooo, figuring a calorie deficit of 300 or so, it would take me 10.5 days to lose a pound.

I think I'm gonna have to seriously step up my exercise program!

This is, of course, just informational because Warrior's aren't supposed to count!

Well, the weekend was no problem! I am really anxious for the book to arrive because I like to be better informed than I currently am....but a little more research that I did, indicates the WOE strongly supports dairy.

How about y'all?
