Default Diabetic Woes

Hi:
Your situation may be unique. First of all you are doing a lot of cardio vascular excercise. There is quite a bit of talk right now in Russia, of all places, regarding the effects of heart lung excercise on diabetics. Apparently, according to one particular doctor/athlete, they are finding that certain excercises are reversing the effects of diabetes. I've been trying to get her book called Diabetes Deliverance by Natural Means, but it seems that all of a sudden no one can find it. Her name is Svetlana Kasatkina and she claims to not only have overcome her condition, but to be completely cured. She proved it by not only competing in 2 marathons in her country, but by also winning both of them. Her nearest competitor was a full 5 minutes behind her.

John - I found this link on the Russian Program. It sounds sketchy, but interesting! Wouldn't it be great if we could "cure" ourselves with exercise? Here's the link:

Default Thanks for the Link

Thanks Sherrilee:

I find it amazing that the book she wrote is so hard to get ahold of. I have noticed quick improvements during times when I'm doing cardio vascular related work on the job. I'm a carpenter and I'm not always doing that kind of work, but when I do and for a week or so, I end up feeling the best ever, and my numbers improve too. It isn't the usual "just send 39.95 and you can be cured either. No one has asked for anything, it's just a blurb about this russian female athlete/doctor. The only thing I can derive from this is that there must be certain kinds of excercise that work better and faster than others. I don't even know if she's a low carber, although she must be.

Thanks Razzy
