Afterwards I completed 30 swim laps today. Most with no stopping in between laps & the others with 5 to 10 second intervals.

Seems like I'm getting stronger & stronger with each workout which just gives me more motivation for the next one.

Man! I can't believe I did jumping jacks!

Wow, that is wonderful!! It gives me hope! (BTW, I crack up every time I see "Morris Chestnut" in your stats. )

You started running because of a knee problem? I thought my bad knees were caused by my years of running. I haven't run in ten - no, fifteen! - years and oh, how I miss it.

That's funny, Elizabeth, I find the same thing. I walk against the current in the current pool for 1/2 hour and all the folks look at me like - if the fat chick can do it, I can do it. Not so much. There has not been one person when I'm there that can walk as long as me. I go four days a week at different times so I see a lot of people. Then I swim laps for 45 minutes. Lol.

Default Whooshka!

I've been working my tail off in the gym this week and it's totally been worth it. Today the whoosh fairy visited me and I'm down a total of 6 lbs this week. I actually dropped 2 yesterday & 4 today.

I'm totally hyped, on my way to the gym now. Think I'll hop on the treadmill or elliptical today to change things up a bit.

Well I don't know about amazing, I still have quite a ways to go, but thank you that is very kind of you to say.

Feeling on top of the world right now 'cause I totally rocked this week with 5 days in the gym & pool. Finished off Friday, by completing an hour on the treadmill today. A total of 3.5 miles. I didn't even know I could do 3.5 miles. How cool is that?

I feel good. Going to complete the workout week with a swim tomorrow to complete a total of 6 workout days, and then rest on Sunday. :-)

TGIF ~ Everybody have a wonderful & blessed weekend!

Oooh I just need to whine a little bit...every part of my body is so sore and stiff today. I think the only thing that isn't sore is my head. I'm surprised I actually got my swim in yesterday.

Okay, but the good new is...I did drop another 2 lbs today. That's a total of 8 lbs so far this week. So I guess I should stop whining now.

Definitely worth feeling a bit stiff and sore.
