At 5.10, I don't think I'd come anywhere close to a size zero, dead or alive!

I'm 6' tall and can tell you, without any doubt, there is no way to physically reach a size zero at my height or yours!

I'm 5'10" with an athletic and muscular build (thanks to running and weight-lifting). To be a size zero at 5'10"--I can't even imagine it. At 150lbs. I'm a loose size 6! I'd have to be 100lbs. to fit into a zero!

Crazy.

How about a double 0(00) or a neg 0? My sis n law was a 0 before her pregnancy and she was 108 pounds! She JUST had the baby and maybe is a size 5 at the most! She was going for the neg sizes! I feel REALLY bad for her! My MIL encouraged it! While she was pregnant she always told her daughter after every Dr Appointment to be careful, "you gained two pounds" GRRRRRR......
so no I would not want to be a size 0

I think women have to be rather petite to get to size 0. A lot of women who act are surprisingly tiny. The build needed to look good for film acting (or TV) is smallish and very slim, and also with a head that is large for your body.

That looks good on camera...in real life, maybe not so much. For me? Nah. I would have to lose muscle as well as fat. And it's not realistic at all for me.

At my very thinnest- 124 lbs.. I was also super fit and very cut from strength training- at 5"5' I wore a size 10 jean.. and many people told me I looked anorexic. We are all different . I had a body composition analysis done, and I was told I needed to weigh 135lbs to be "thin"-

I think sizes are changing nowadays. The size 4's are actually 6's now for some companies. What a way to get a person to buy your product, right? A woman who is a size 10 who can fit into your company's size 6... of course she'll buy the product! That should also be considered, I think. Most companies don't do that, but I'm totally different sizes for different stores and it kind of makes you wonder...

Oh, they've changed things a LOT over the years. The smallest size you could get in most stores was a size 5. In fact, there was a specialty store for petite women called "5-7-9".

I was so excited when I got into a size 16, I broke out an old pair I'd been saving from before I had Steven. BWAHAHAHA! Not even CLOSE to pulling them UP...let alone closing them!

At my thinnest of around 110 at 5'6 I would wear a 2 and sometimes squeeze into size 0 jeans. More recently at 145 I wore a comfortable 6 but my body is a little odd shaped. I am very top heavy with a smaller ribcage and waist and a short torso (think upside down weeble wobble). Most people complain about thighs and I am cursing my arms, bust and mannish broad shoulders.

Honestly, I wouldnt mind being a size 4 or a 2 in jeans again on my 5'6 frame. My collarbone barely shows because I am so top heavy but my hip bones do a bit, but I always a little bit showing is sexy. Its not as though I had major bones jutting a mile out.

I fit into 2/4 (depending on brand) now, but I think to get into a zero (one without lots of spandex that is) I think would require entirely too much effort. I still have enough in the trunk that I COULD lose but the look of my upper body would make the UN send out humanitarian aid if I tried to lose it!

I really do think that it depends on frame size/height. What people also seem to forget is that smaller is not necessarily better. I could probably starve myself down to a size 4 (at 5'7) but I'd look like hell! However, I am not in the camp that favors protruding bones on ANY gender, so I'm a bit biased.

But size 0 is what all the models aim for isn't it? And aren't models generally tall?

Models are currently going for 0 and 00, and they're dropping like flies. I saw this outtake of Project Runway, and the models were constantly fainting and becoming disoriented. It was very sad to see.

I haven't tried to fit into a 0, but right now I can wear a 2. I'm 5'1" and 106 lbs. I definitely wouldn't call myself emaciated! I suppose a lot is dependent on height.
