Things were back on a downward trend until I began a round of prednisone. It's rather alarming how much and how fast it will make a body gain weight, despite very clean LC eating!

Ok, kinda miffed at myself... I have been staying around 183, and shot up to 188, and down to 187 today.

I know its bloat... I went out with my wife and decided that since I was in Maintenance I could have fish and chips... they were good... really good...

But... for a couple of days afterwards... OMG... talk about just feeling off... It must be wheat...

Anyhow... I threw myself back to induction levels for a couple of days.. but that friday ended up drinking a major amount of Vodka (don't ask, it was medicinal... really.... No really really... Ok.. wasn't... needed a huge drunk... so I admitted it... whats it to you... )

so induction levels since then, I am starting to feel better and the weight is starting to come down... I don't like being up 5 pounds in a week.. makes me feel out of control...

Am I a hot mess or what?

Back to my low, thank goodness. I am hosting Thanksgiving dinner. The main course is deep fried turkey, I'm also making bacon wrapped jalapeņo poppers, the rest of the menu is pot luck.

I'm getting used to the new scale. I weigh 134 on my old scale and 138.4 on the other. I have them lined up side by side in the bathroom. I'm making a production of deciding which one to keep.
