Hey, Steph -

I'm sorry your tweaks worked out badly. I feel your pain - I've been getting no where for a really long time!

Low calorie meat and egg works for me, as does fat fast type eating with low calories and very high fat. But neither is practical for me as a lifestyle and I am not interested in a week long crash diet so much as a sustainable weightloss diet that I can transition into a maintenance lifestyle.

Did your tweaks result in binges or cravings? Or did you gain on the scale even on plan? I pretty much bounce around the same numbers for a week or so, unless I am drastic.

Hope coming back to the original plan works for you!

Hooray, I'm down another 1.5lbs! During my TOM my weight goes up so much that I get really anxious about how much I've gained and forget that it will eventually go away. I went to doc on monday just for a check up and had to get on the scale. I weighed 186lbs (jeans & sweater, no shoes). This morning I weighed 177.5lbs (naked). Can't believe the difference! I was 179lbs before TOM started so I know I've lost some.

I really have no idea why sometimes I lose weight and other times not. The last two weeks have been full of partying, drinking, and dining out (not low-carb) so I'm shocked I've lost any weight. Then other times when I'm really good and sticking to plan the scale/measuring tape doesn't budge.

Steph, I wish I had advice for you. Maybe try mixing up your calorie consumption for a couple of days? East a little less than normal for a day or two then bump it back up for a couple of days. Sometimes that helps me.

Up to 241+!

Seriously restarting Induction today. I have a week's worth of meat thawed, and I have a dozen eggs hard-oiling right now! Got lettuce in the crisper, so I'm ready to go!

That's so wonderful! I'm down to 240.0, so maybe I'll soon drop the 4 extra pounds necessary for me to get back down to my lowest!

I was down to 239.0 this morning, despite my minor error of having too much cream yesterday.

I reread the Induction section of my '72 book to refresh my memory of the details. I'm doing better today!

175.4 this morning... its all water weight...

and of course I had to be up two pounds today (and let me tell you, it feels like 50 because of the way its sitting)... TODAY of all days... when in half an hour I'm going out to dinner with BF and his parents to meet them for the first time. Seriously.. of all days I want to feel thin and confident, this would be it. Instead I feel like a bloated mess.

The good news is, I still fit into my skinny jeans and they look good... so I can totally fake this confident thing... but man it would be so much nicer if I didn't feel like I swallowed a swimming pool. ARGH.

Ok, just had to vent. I'm calmer now.

Anyway, I'm sure the parents were impressed with you! If those pics you posted are any indication, then you're beautiful! I know from your posts here that you're intelligent and have a good personality. There'd have to be something wrong with the parents for them not to think the world of you.

Pam!

I'm up a pound, but I ate a lot of food yesterday, and also, I don't know what these antibiotics might do to me. Gotta have them, though!

Awww! You are so sweet I could just hug you! Thank you so much!

I think it went well. Seemed to. Hard to tell with parents sometimes, but they invited me to go out with all of them again today (they're in town for a few days), so that has to be a good sign, eh?

Still hanging on to this water weight tho so I'm not even bothering to get on the scale. Figure I'll stay away from the scale until monday for the official weigh in... maybe it will be gone by then

WTG Pam on your two pounds!

I'm still at 240.2, as I've been for the past few days.
