www.igigi.com is fantastic.

Does anyone else have the problem that no matter how much weight they lose, they don't drop sizes quickly? I have lost almost 35 - still wearing my clothes which are not that loose. My ankles are looking thin, though

Has anyone posted the Spiegel catalog?

http://www.spiegel.com

Just click on "Fashion" and scroll down to Women's Sizes.

I haven't lost enough yet to be helpful on the clothing question. Sorry.

And nope nothing from Spiegel.
I hope somebody has though.

I know that this season of Avenue clothing runs small, at least on me. And they only go up to a 32 as their largest size.

I love to shop and consider myself still in fashion despite my size...I'm 27 and my "normal size " friends always want me to go shopping to help them pick out clothes...

I say this only to preference my top 3 choices for plus size women.

1. Old Navy (online) has plus sizes up to 26 (and I think they are a big 26)--I personally like thier pants because they are mid-rise...meaning they go right below the belly button which ist he BEST fit for anyone!! (Above the belly button gives your stomach a bloated look yet most plus size clothes are made this way!)
2. Lane Bryant (not the magazine!!!!!) the store
3. Avenue

Don't feel like you have to dress in baggy shirts and high wasted stretch pants because you are heavy!! We can still take pride in our looks and be ins tile while we are on this journey!

Happy shopping!

i just got another really good coupon from layne bryant (now woman within)
20% off everything today only
WW10572
http://www.womanwithin.com

It is funny you brought that up inchbyinch, I was just out and about and saw a larger lady wearing shorts and a button up short sleeve top. I thought to my self "self, I wish I felt more comfortable to dress that way".

<sigh>

Smile We still deserve it!

I think sometimes just because we are heavy, we feel we can't or don't deserve to look nice...and you know what WE DO!!!! and we CAN!

It's all about fit...wearing pants that come below the belly button (slims the tummy)...etc.

I love the show "What not to Wear" gives great tips!!

Don't ever feel just because we are heavy that we can't look good...we CAN! And I notice it helps with losing the weight too...if I feel good enough about myself to dress in style/fashionable...and pu tthe time into my eating and excercising, too!!

so go shopping!!

is www.jjill.com. The things that I've purchased there seem to run a little big. Not a bad thing for someone like me.

Great Thread!

I have found a great store (style and price wise) for plus sizes and they have regular sizes too. Looks like they don't have shopping vie the web but you can click below to find a store near you.

I need to start dressing better. I've fallen into that trap of thinking that nothing looks good or fits so why try. My job really requires that I dress better and this thread is really helping. We need to make this a sticky because I keep searching for it.

Thanks
