Hi everyone,
I'm looking for anyone's experience, anecdotes, expertise, or comments, as thyroid and adrenals are the two subjects I have not fully tackled yet, research wise or anything-wise.
I have not had labs done, but intend to. That will come in the future, so in the meantime, I have done nothing for years, except I guess just fly blind and hope for the best by the seat of my pants. (thumbswaydown to that!)
Copying from what I just posted in my own journal:
Quote:
My morning temperature when I opened my eyes today was 96.2 degrees. And then at noon it was 95.6 degrees!!
I am not thrilled about that at all, but will continue to document and see what comes up over a period of several days. This is with a digital thermometer, and I heard they're fairly useless for reliability of temp monitoring to gauge anything re adrenals or thyroid anyway, so I think this might be kind of a wasted exercise.
But until I'm able to get some labs done eventually and in the future, and in light of the fact that I am doing low carb as well as low calorie, I am going to order some guggul right now. I've never used it before, but have high hopes that it should help a bit.

So I guess my question are:
1. Has anyone taken guggul before?
2. Has anyone self medicated with non-prescription natural thyroid, WITHOUT knowing what their actual labs are first?
3. If so, what were your results, and how long did it take to see any?
4. Obviously, being on this forum/site, I am also most interested to hear of course what differences anyone saw with their weight loss. Either rate of, speed of, difference in, or anything else at all that you've noticed, or would like to share.
Thank you so much in advance!!!
