Nice to see the success. With so many females on this board, I'm always looking for male success stories. Inspired.

I had a tummy tuck two years ago (and a boob job!). This was after a twin pregnancy and then loosing 4.5 stone of weight. It is the best thing i have done. I love my flat tummy and normal belly button - and my boobs don't look bad either. Mine wasn't funded by the NHS - hence the reason I had the op when my twins were 8, I had to save the money up first!

I can fully recommend the surgery!

Ann

Good luck, I hope it all works out for you. I am amazed at the amount of weight you have lost. You deserve to have it all work out for you.

It cost me £8,500 but I had both procedures done at the same time. I could walk up straight the next day. Could do 6 mile walks after a week or so, then 8 to 10 mile walks and after 6 weeks was back running! Haven't looked back since. The pain was manageable with paracetamol and only needed to take that for the first 2 or 3 days. The most cumbersome thing was having to wear a corset day and night.

Just try to be as fit as you can be before the operation, and your recovery will be easier.

Good luck!

Ann

my GP basically told me to go **** myself, and that this type of surgery never happens on the NHS
