Hmm K8ty....
My guess would be that raisins would follow the same rules as any other fruit. It never even occurred to me that dried fruit might be an option. I stick to fresh juices and fruit in it's original form.
Since I am striving to eat only fruit until noon, I also stay away from cereal. Fit for Life would call this a poorly combined meal since it is a combo of two different "concentrated" foods, starch and dairy.
The Sommers program might allow cereal since on her plan, skim milk is a carb. Cream is a "fat" and therefore it goes in the pro/fats group. Non fat things such as non fat yogurt, non fat sour cream or non fat cottage cheese are all in the starch category. Partial fat things are not allowed, ie 2% milk, "light" dairy anything. It's all (cream, butter) or nothing (no fat at all).
Gives you a headache trying to sort it out huh? I usually buy these fresh juices by Bolthouse Farms or Fruit Fix and sip on those until noon. Quick and easy when I am chasing the baby around!
