Hi Glenda, and welcome to the forum from another BC Glenda ... I live in Victoria, but I grew up in Surrey about 60 years ago. Our home stood on the grounds of the library(?? - or maybe it's the community centre? [across from the Fleetwood Hall]) in Fleetwood ... we had 5 acres and the present building stands on what was our orchard. I sometimes think I should go into the building with my photo album and donate some for their archives.

Thanks all, for your warm welcome. I'm currently recovering from surgery, very sedentary, and so, trying to be good in the food dept. till I can start excersizing. It's soooo hard, lol!

My gosh, "Victoria Glenda", Fleetwood is very close to me, I live in the Newton area. It truly is a small world!
The Fleetwood Hall is now the Greek Community Centre. They have this huge Foodfest every July, which I've never made it to yet, but plan to for sure this year. (In a low carb way ONLY, I promise, lolol.
I'm looking forward to getting to know, and support you all!
