Here's some information, although it's not specifically low carb:

Thanks watcher16! I find this really interesting. I've sort of fallen into only eating once a day three days a week (gym days) and twice a day the rest of the time-- I feel great and my appetite is so much more under control-- nice to know this is working for other folks too (of course the other folks are mostly mice, but still) I'm also eating lowcarb-- Cathy

I really want to try this.
I can go no problem all day without eating...it is just at night that my cravings overwhelm me and I binge, so this would be perfect.

Question: I notice that you can have coffee throughout the day...is there a limit? Also, I like to have my coffee with cream...is this okay if it is the only thing I am taking in?

Thanks.

No problem, the limit on coffee is not from the diet, but from your ability to take caffeine. I take some eggs and yoghurt in daytime.

Further this is really not a restricted diet anyway. If you feel hungry you eat, but only like cheese, meat, apples etc. Little carbs, they make you get hungry fast. If you take your normal daily calories at night you will find you have to eat really a lot!!

One kind of stimulator to get used to this way of eating could be to take the nicest dessert you know off, and after your main meal you reward yourself with it! Makes you love what you do. After a couple of days you will find you will want some less heavy dessert, but now and then you can do this without any guilt, you simple will not feel quilty because you eat mostly very healthy.

Try it.

I am really excited about starting this. I just finished day 1.

I had two coffees with cream and sweetner during the day...for dinner we went out and I had a ceasar salad and split a thin crust pizza with chicken, feta and red peppers...yumm

It is 8:30 now and I am not hungry like I usually am at this time of night...I think I'll eat something small though, since I won't be eating for a while after.

If you have a boiled egg, a small portion of cheese, or half a can of tuna or salmon, you will be able not to have any hunger during the daytime.

Snacking on a salad with olive oil and some cheese and herbs will make you also feel very healthy and happy AND satisfied!
