Question Karen...sweetener questions

Karen (or anyone else that may know),
I have a few questions that i would appreciate help with if you have a minute....
1. i know liquid splenda is carb free but is it completely calorie free as well? i know FDA permits anything less than 4 calories to be considered free so i wondered if it truly is.
2. is liquid saccharin truly calorie free?
3. are divinci syrups truly calorie free?
4. is liquid aspartame available anywhere that you know of?

i'm trying to get rid of sweeteners that use fillers. thank you in advance for any answers/guidance.

1) Yes

2) Yes

3) Yes, as far as I know. Someone mentioned that it has 8 carbs per bottle which would not make it carb or calorie free, but I have yet to hear how they got that explination and from what the crabs are coming from. So until I do I am assuming it is carb and calorie free. Either way I dont drink a bottle of the stuff.

4) no clue about liquid aspartame

If you want to get rid of sweetners that use fillers, you may be interested in stevia.

Its all natural and contains no fillers. You can usually pick some up at a health food store or a whole foods type place.

I like Splenda. However, there are carbs in it because of the fillers. I recently ordered some in liquid form from the following web site.
http://sweetzfree.com/index.html
The smallest amount you can order is 1 oz. (equal to 24 cups of sugar) for $16.00. That includes postage.
I just thought I'd let you know about it in case you're interested.

Well I called davinci. They said they dont have 0.1g carbs per serving.

They said some of their syrups may have very very trace amounts of carbs, but in those cases its fractional and they couldnt even count them and less than 0.1g per bottle.

So I am just going to keep counting it as 0

I myself use liquid sweet-n-low, it is cheap and one bottle lasts a long time. I like the taste of it, and a little goes a long way. I don't find Splenda to be sweet enough-I end up using too much of it and it can cause cravings for me.

for less than 0.1g an entire bottle I wouldnt be concerned with it.

And its not even in all the syrups.
