Default Will We Ever Get LC Milk in Canada?

Has anyone heard whether or not Canadian dairies are going to jump on to the LC wagon and offer carb-controlled milk? I do miss milk .....

Surely Neilson or one of the other big dairies could afford to try this. If they can produce milk with Omega 3 in it why not LC milk?

And LC yogourt -- not that plain old Astro whole-milk yogourt is bad -- but think how convenient some of those little pre=mix pots would be in a bag lunch.

I'll just keep dreaming!

If only one of these low-carb stores could get Hood's Carb Countdown in their stores....I think that I am going to have to start going to Niagara Falls every couple of weeks to grab some yogurt and Hood's CC...No word of a lie, it takes just like milk and is 3 net grams per serving and the chocolate "milk" is 2! If comes in "skim", 2%, 1% and chocolate...and it last a long time...expiry date is longer on it...

I do go to Niagara Falls once a month or so. I found Mt Olive No Sugar Added Sweet Gherkins. Very yummy, sweetened with Splenda I think.

And if you go to Niagara Falls, the Tops Market (near the outlet mall) has no sugar added gummies! They are to die for!

Hey Valerie...
Tops is where I picked up Hood's and the Dannon Carb Fit yoghurt....the vanilla is the best followed by the strawberry. As for the Hood's, it's pretty amazing!

So Nice just came out with a low-carb soymilk. I found it at Sobey's the other day.

I didn't buy it, though. It had a laundry list of suspect extra ingredients, and only a half gram of carbs less than the So Nice Natural... ingredients, soybeans, water.

Still. It's a start.

I'm sure Canada will carry low carb milk and yogurt in the next 5-10 years!
Until then, i might actually give the soymilk a try. I am craving dairy like there's no tomorrow!

Use half and half or tablecream and mix it with VERY cold water....just a little quells the craving! That's how I eat my cereal....
