Default Where is everybody?

Is everybody suffering from extreme die off at once or what?!?!?!?!?!?!

Where's everybody been???????

How are you people doing?

I'm still roughing it pretty good.......tire REAL easy. Wondering when does it get better..........

I got a new recipe for ya.

I tastes a lot like chili w/o the beans.......

A lot of this recipe depends on just how much ingredients you like to put in.......here is what I put in.

ingredients:
about 2 lbs ground beef.....I like the lean stuff (that a way I don't have to drain any of the fat....cause there is none!)
wash and cut up, shredded, about 1/2 a cabbage
1 medium onion
1 green pepper .......dice both onion and pepper
1 can of diced....organic...tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce organic
salt
pepper
cayenne pepper
chili seasoning
onion powder
garlic powder or fresh..is ok too.

In a pot, saute onion and pepper in whatever ...oil or butter (just a little)
sweat the onion and pepper......do not let them get brown just till onion is clear in color

then add the beef.....or chicken........or turkey
chop it up good as it cooks

season w/ salt and pepper

add cabbage and cook a few minutes

then add the can of tomato sauce and the diced tomatoes

put in small amount of cayenne.....not too much or if you like a good kick add more.......also add the chili powder, onion, and garlic powder....also to your liking. (if you put fresh garlic in add it to the meat when you first put that in the pot to cook).....

mix everything up good, cover and let simmer for about 20 mins.

I find this yummy and there's some leftovers for the next day or so.

The good thing is you can adjust this however you want to make as much as you want. When I first made it I didn't put enough veggies in.......so as I have made it more, I find the more veggies I put in the better it is.

Hope you like it.
Have a holiday weekend. God Bless our troops, Here and gone.

Ill give it a try. I may use the sun dried tomatoes and add some fresh celery. I have a crock pot to simmer it in.

Another dish I have made is stuffed bell peppers, there is a recipe in Atkins book-- I just use my mom's, but hold the rice.

I just heard thunder, I better get off line.

PS.........I didn't add i the recipe to make sure and drain the tomatoes..........heh heh..........it might come out a lil runny.

Mike d .......I hear ya on the peppers........it may be a bit like the stuffed cabbage I made minus the rice also.

I also make the homemade mayo and add chicken to it and put in celery, onion, and make the mayo like a caesar dressing with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and dry mustard. It comes out real good......I eat it like that or add it to a salad w/ romain lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and hard boiled egg.........whalla.....a meal!
