Good Morning!

Rinse and repeat...back to the golf course today. I'm playing with a different friend today and tomorrow. She's a really good player and I get a lot of good tips from her. Yesterday's round was a bit frustrating. One of our friends brought her 22 year old son along to play. Nice kid, but he hit the ball all over the place. We spent more time searching for his ball.......I get tired of that when it's every shot! He did have to buy us all a beer after our round because on one hole, his tee shot didn't make it past the ladies tee. That's a rule....if a man is playing with ladies and he doesn't hit it past where the ladies tee off, he has to buy all the ladies a drink. Not an official rule, but we enforce it at our club!

----------

Trig.....Glad your car came back in one piece! OMG.....I hate it when DH leaves even a water bottle in my car! My golf clubs live in the back all summer, but I want nothing else left in there.

Jaz.....Lucky you on hitting that lottery ticket! I'm never lucky with them and seldom buy one.

Nic....I've lost track of you. Are you in DE or MD?

---------

Well, I have to have another cup of coffee and find a little something to eat before I head out.

Happy Monday!

Hi Pals from the porch in DE
Beautiful, beautiful. I spend freaking HOURS out here.

Karen I was lol'ing over your DD and your comment about 'can't wait til kid goes back to Uni'- I know that well! I love my young adults so much but sorry, once they have left the building and live independently, they get used to it AND SO DO WE. My kids got their first summer home and then after that, they were off to find greener pastures (and we helped with rent as long as they were employed in the summer) Better for us and better for them. DS22 commented recently about how much money he would save if he had come home after college for a year and I was like Yeah he would save money and I would lose my freaking mind. I am DONE parenting and caretaking my offspring!

Lori glad you have someone different to play with the next couple of days. That will liven things up!

Jaz yay on the 200 dollar win! That is a bonus for sure!
Poor Ruger- that itching cannot be fun.

All is well here. Greatly enjoying my second alone day, then DH comes Tu morning and KBE come Weds morning. It was fun while it lasted!
Wide open, no pressing plans just absolutely chilling out and enjoying the freedom to just be.

Food going well, just doing my 'thang!'

Good Morning!

A day off from golf! My friend and I decided that we both needed a break. I had a good day yesterday....even beat my friend(the good golfer) by a couple of strokes. She had a bad day...just not on her game. Oh boy do I know that feeling!

I don't think I'm doing much today. I do have to run to the grocery store at some point. It's nice to not have a schedule to adhere to.

What are you all up to?

Hey Ladies-

Beautiful Summer Day here FINALLY! We have had SO much rain lately!

Nic- Look at you! Lady of leisure in DE! I love you are just chillin' beach side! No better life!

I am curious what you're eating plan looks like. I know you are not making that a big deal.... just rolling with "it". I'm just curious. You are pretty much at maintenance anyway, aren't you?

Yea with hubby time! I know you love your porch! Do you have couches out there? It has windows, right?
Who all is coming this weekend?

Lori- I also think it's hilarious that the 'game" is so serious! I know it is. It is not just a game! It is a passion for a lot of folks. People also make huge money chasing that little white ball around. Just ask Tiger! LOL
So glad we are in full summer/golf mode! It just feels right!

Do you open up your windows in the summer? I can picture you sipping your coffee at your new counter in that beautiful farm kitchen!

Trig- OMG the description of your car after the kiddo slays me! LOLOLOL
I agree that after you get used to having the "kids" in THEIR own space, you crave your own! It is the way it should be! I agree with what Nic said- yeah, after the first summer- they are good to go!

I have read that some 20-30-year-olds move back in with their parents after college to save money. Yeah......NO!!!!! I would lose my mind as well. That is another rabbit hole! LOL

I feel your frustration on that pool! Oh boy! $$$$- Hoping you get it up and running. I see a hot tube in your future! LOL
------------------------------------------------------------------

I am on the down slope of bounce house. Losing the bloat! 3 pounds to go again! Urghhhhhh
It might absolutely be "processed meat". I do like my pepperoni. I also have been getting hotdogs and deli sliced chicken meat. Not as "clean" as "real food for sure. Zero carbs yes- clean not really.......I will finish up what I have and just not buy anymore.
Can't afford to just toss food anymore. Not in today's economy.

I picked up a chuck roast for tomorrow. Just a pure piece of beef!

Ruger's skin is slowly clearing up. I am feeding him pretty clean, chicken and beef. Plain- boiled. Nothing on it. He gets salmon skins "pure"- as his treat.
I think he is just an itchy boy. He has been way more needy that Bella was! LOL
I still miss Bella! She was my spirit animal!
Ruger is a happy go lucky sweet thing. Not the brightest tool in the shed. But he is a joy to have.

Sun is bright today! Coffee is hot. I have a Paris Cafe Candle going. Took a warm bubble bath this morning and feel ready to concur the day.

The search continues, and I am also pursuing other avenues that aren't nursing. MEH- I am curious where I will be in 6 months! Enjoying the journey.

Time for more coffee and need to "get to work".........
I am absolutely going to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air too!

Have a good one!
