Default Question about CALPers successes

I just paged through 2 full pages of success posts and not one was from someone on CAD or CALP. They are 99% Atkins. I was thinking of switching to CALP after reading some of the posts here because I thought it might fit in with my life better. The Reward Meal being dinner so that I could eat similarly to my family...

So what are some of your successes? Do you lose weight as quickly as Atkins? Help me decide whether the switch is right for me....

I maintain great on CAD but was never very successful at actually losing weight on it. It is going to be my maintenance plan though, once the weight is off.

Hi, I know I've been successful with CALP -- my total loss is almost 50 pounds since March of this year!

Hope this helps!

I haven't posted on the Success page because I post here. I lost ALL my weight on CALP. It is a very live-able plan. I have been on this for 4 years now. I will not discuss how fast or how it compares to Atkins- you need to reseach that. Please read CALP and see if it is for you. This is a YMMV issue. It is a GREAT plan for me. Feel free to read our posts and ask questions- we will try and answer.

I've always had great success with CAD, but I don't have a lot to lose.
