asian sesame green beans
I'm new, but I love to cook a lot. Here is my VERY easy recipe for asian sesame green beans.
1lb, fresh or frozen whole green beans.
2 TBLSPs sesame oil
1 and 1/2 TBLSPs sesame seeds
Salt to taste (I use two large pinches of kosher) You may use a little soy instead of salt if you prefer.
For fresh green beans, blanch in boiling water for four - five minutes first.
For frozen green beans thaw in microwave for about three minutes or until thawed.
Add sesame oil to frying pan on medium to medium high heat
As soon as pan gets hot, add green beans. Toss in oil for about four to five minutes.
Sprinkle on Sesame seeds and salt, toss to coat.
I know it sounds very simple, but this is very good and a nice way to add flavor to green beans if you are tired of plain with butter.
