Talking Hello, I'm a Newbie!

Hi everyone! Last night I posted my first question. It was basically how to survive Induction! I made it to the 3rd day and felt so weak and miserable, I indulged in a granola bar and then completely fell off the wagon!

Today, I re-start Induction with a new outlook on what to expect. I hope that with the support of other Atkins-ers I can make it through this time! I realize now that the weakness/heart palpitations/headache were all indications of how addicted to carbs I really am.

It is frightening when I thought about it. I am basically a sugar junkie. Just like a drug addict.

My sister in law has been doing Atkins for about a year and looks and feels fabulous. She has told me that when she has too much carbs now, she feels almost toxic.

Looking forward to hearing from other Newbies. Hopefully, we can be there to support each other!!!

Good luck, everyone!
