Default Padruga's gym log

Time to give this log thing a try!

I started LC and exercise this week, after loafing around all of 2004. No exercise, no diet - no surprise that I gained 25 pounds!

A quick recap of my week:
1/1 (Saturday): 20 mins cross trainer, 20 mins recumbent bike
1/2 (Sunday): 7 mile hike, beg/int
1/3 (Monday): 25 mins walking
1/5 (Weds.): 25 mins fast walk/jog in gym
1/6 (Thursday): 1 hour aqua fitness

My goal for the start is to work out 5x/week for at least 30 mins - Aqua on Thursday and Saturday; Spinning on Monday and Weds; Sunday my own thing - cardio in the gym or hiking with a local club.

Thanks Galatia! I hope the pounds fly off, but I know from experience that it is hard work. :-(

1 hour, 15 mins of aqua fitness today. The drill sargeant was back today (yay), so I worked extremely hard. I did two laps before class - I think I'll always do that, for a little extra umph.

No workout yesterday (day off).

I think I pulled a muscle in my leg yesterday - it's hurting a lot. It isn't the same type of pain as the general soreness that comes from working out. This is a stinging pain when I walk.

I hate working out with weights - but I also don't want to do anything that would make this muscle worse. Is it so bad to take a day off from the workout?

Padruga, thanks for stopping by my gym log!

Not sure if the X box is the same as the eye toy or not. This version has a dance pad and you dance on the arrows as they go up the screen and you get a score and a grade for each song that you do. I am not sure how the eye toy works.....

I definitely pulled a muscle the other day - it was sore since Monday. I worked out in the pool today (aqua fitness), and even though I hadn't felt it during the day, I felt it during the workout. Still, it felt *GREAT* to get some exercise in. 40 minutes of aqua. Yay.

This weekend will be sparse, but I'll be walking all over Savannah. That should do for a workout
