As to why people comment on what he eats....I still really don't know! Even men at the golf course have said, "Damn Stuart....when are you due?" and such! People he barely knows comparing him to other larger men they know, asking him "was he trying to catch up with so and so??!" Not kidding!!!!

Imagine if a woman came up and said that to another woman! He acts like he isn't upset but really he is very self conscious about his weight gain so I know it upsets him. I think people are jealous of him.....or maybe they are just stupid....or just rude. Hard to figure out! One was a retired dentist (in his 80's.) He was the one that made the "are you trying to catch up" comment.

Yes, I saw his belly in your in progress pics and other pics.
People can be very rude...and stupid if you want my opinion!!
I know that many people used to comment on my weight before I lost it all....sure they knew what I should be eating and telling me so......ugh. it was a nightmare, so I do know.
Of course he's upset by the comments....its nobody's business but his own...and yours! The longer he allows that belly to live there, the more it will be harder on his heart. so yeah, he could do without the alcohol too....
YOU look great, by the way!!
Did you read that thread I gave you the link to?

Hey Judy! I thought I commented on that thread? Did it get lost?

Thank you for the compliment. It's so hard for me to feel the way people see me, and no, I don't have a body dysmorphia!!! I am fighting hard to just maintain, I'll settle for 135. Right now I am at the high end of normal (according to the gov. BMI chart anyway!) I'd like to have a little more space than that. I know it only gets harder with age!!!

LOL on his alcohol! He has fun with his golfing buddies way too much and it has been a point of contention. I worry about things from a health perspective for him. He is losing more than me at the moment doing CAD so what more can I really say now? (He has lost 11 to my 6!) I used to say more about it, but the more I said, the more he seemed to ignore my advice and would tune me out. (sort of like a prophet in their own homeland not getting respect kind of thing!)

He has to have his knee replaced now after many failed knee surgeries. He is doing that as soon as his doctor at Duke can get him in. I am just glad to have him on the new bike at least. His pain is really unbearable (just walking) and I hope he can get relief soon (then maybe I can help him more with moderation and exercise....then again, maybe not!)

The comments from people are uncalled for either way!

I'd blow up the bathing suit pic so the extra pounds can be clearly seen but don't know how? I'd also like to put the little pic of me and my dog as my avatar but have yet to figure that out! Ask the board mod.'s in an email but I guess they are too busy.

Avatar pics can be uploaded in your USER CP, click on "edit avatar".

Dimensions for an avatar are 100x100....you will need to figure out in your own picture editor in your PC, how to resize your pic.

I can see that you are storing your fat in your thighs and butt. Just a very small amount...

Dang it!!!! Wish I wasn't so scared of lipo. I'd be a good candidate but am just too afraid. I have seen people end up more lumpy with uneven skin contours afterwards. Smaller, yes, but definitely not smoother. Abs have a layer too now. Can only see abs if I strain....(not a good look for me usually!) LOL!

It's really not that small of an amount to me, but thank you!!! I want to look good nekkid! Stupid estrogen!

Default I loooooove beans (legumes)

Legumes are high in carbs, so I try to limit them. No one says you HAVE to eat them. Figure out a substitute for the minerals and vitamins you get out of legumes.
