Default Problems Keeping Motivated

Hi All,

Granted, this is just my second week on the diet, but with CFS, Hasimoto's Thyroid, severe menopause symptoms from going off hormones, I have gotten to a point that I am so weak that I can barely move & feeling like "Is it worth it?" Of course, I know it is, but it's just so hard to concentrate on dieting with all these feeling of ill health. I was determined to succeed this time, but my resolve is weakening. I have gotten so hungry for fruit, that I have been cheating & eating a few blueberries in the morning.
Thanks for letting me vent...

Eve

Hang in there, sweetie. From all I've read, I believe that controlling insulin should help heal hormonal systems that are whacked out, but I'm afraid it will get worse before it gets better. Toxins & estrogen are stored in fat cells and as you release fat you release these as well.

I am giving up flaxseed oil due to it containing large amounts of alpha linolenic acid after reading in Protein Power how it inhibits microhormone eicosanoid synthesis processes which are modulated by a low carb diet.

I must be full of toxins then! I will just try to tough it out & hope that it will get better eventually...
