Default Day 23 Binge

My son loves macaroni and cheese. I made some for him, and decided I would go ahead and make some banana bread... since those bananas were going to have to be thrown out if I didn't do something with them.

I wasn't feeling deprived, but I still found myself with a plate of mac and cheese and some banana bread. I have been back on track today, but I'm disappointed in myself. Do I stay on phase II or go back to phase I, since I caved so early in phase II?

Anyone else had this kind of a lapse? I really want this to work and feel like I can make it a permanent change. I just don't know how to best handle the set backs.

We all go through times like these ...so please forgive yourself and start clean right away...tonight.

I'd suggest to do 3 days of phase I and then start phase II again. The 3 days will allow for all the refined flour to clean out of your body.

Progress, not perfecton!

Thank you for the understanding and insight, Judy. It hadn't even crossed my mind to do an abbreviated phase I. That is good advice that I will follow.

I'm glad you feel you can do that.
I've found that it takes my body 3 days to clean out of crap I eat....when I eat crap that is. Drink a lot of water tomorrow to help flush it out.
Nobody is perfect.
