Default Fat Fast...Day two and holding strong

So I completed the first day...NO HUNGER...Too weird!! I lost a pound and a half...and I am slight ketosis finally! I would say the stall is already officially over!!!! I just hope that I continue to lose from there!! Is anyone else doing the fat fast right now?? What are you eating? I stuck with cream cheese most of the day.

Why don't you just get the Atkins book, it tells you what to eat in there. Just a warning, if you do a search on the fat fast you will find that most people gained their weight back within 1-2 days of ending the fast. Don't be too surprised if this happens, a lot of what you lose on the fat fast is still just water. Don't stay on it too long either, you need your veggies.

I've done it twice. Once I lost like 7 lbs in 5 days and didn't gain a lick back BECAUSE I went right onto Induction afterwards and didn't overeat on calories, etc... The second time I went to like 30 g carbs afterwards and gained all but 2 lbs back.

My advice, go onto Induction afterwards (but don't gorge). Best of luck to ya.

This is what is in one book, I think I've seen some other things in another though, I did, and I never ate pork rinds, I hate them.

SUGGESTIONS FOR 200-CALORIE PORTIONS ARE:

2 oz of sour cream, containing 1 tbs. of caviar, served on 3-4 pork rinds.
2 deviled egg halves, served not in the whites, but on pork rinds.
Graham Newbould's Pate for Royalty (2 oz.) served on the soya bread.
2 oz of chicken salad made with triple the usual amount of mayo (of ham salad, egg salad, shrimp salad.)
1 oz of the above in a half avocado
1 oz of macadamia nuts (or walnuts, or other nuts that fit the 90% fat criteria.
2.5 oz of whipped heavy cream, artificially sweetened, with ground vanilla beans
2 oz of cream cheese
Remember, you are not trying to eat a gourmet meal plan, but are trying to push yourself into ketosis.

I've just completed a five day fat fast with a 10 (first 7 in one day, all water) pound loss and so far two days back on a very mild induction with no weight gain.

I have done allot of fasting and never gained back the weight as long as you watch your portions and keep up your exersize.
You can't simply go fasting and then pig out.Take the following week to readjust to eating normal again.
