And rightly so. I had a hellish adolescence with zero support for my academic ambitions, so that door closed. Then I managed to get on with a Fortune 500 company who was going to send me to school and give me a career. But then it got taken over by the same kind of brilliant minds who killed Sears, and that fell apart.

Now, I'm carving out a niche as a cat behaviorist and trying to turn it into a business. The advantages is that this is mostly my own efforts, not those of others. And the competition is small

Now, this wasn't even a THING until recently. But my career up to this point makes me almost genetically suited to it. NOW I actually have a career.

And I had to mostly make it up as I went along.
