I started reading the various bottles in my pantry a few months ago when I'd finished reading "The Case Against Sugar" when it first came out. I was horrified to discover that my jar of cook-in "butter chicken" curry sauce had the same percentages of sugar per 100g as my other bottle of generic chocolate sauce that we'd used to pour over ice-cream. Then I read all of my jars and a LOT of them went into the garbage, including those ice-cream toppings. Most of them were 40-50% sugar. Unbelievable.
