HI

I'm new here and this is my first post. LAF3's post struck me because it is very similar to my own experience. I did the rounds of tons of doctors and had serious malnutrition with anemia and severe B2 deficiency. I felt so low and had candida symptoms too, which I began to suspect might be candida linked but never knew for sure until I bought The Complete Candida Guidebook.

I started the diet and started taking the medications, with rotating (to avoid yeast becomming resistant to any one medication) and next week I see a candida specialist for the first time. I have had bad die-off symptoms initially, although they are slightly better now.

I will get the full work-up from this new specialist, although interestingly I had already had confirmed from a previous specialist that I had blastocystis hominis, and severe allergy to yeast and all fermented foods, plus gluten sensitivity.

I'm now on the diet suggested in the book, and I don't mind the diet so much as that I really need to know what LAF3 said . . . that there will be a day when I am really properly better. I had hoped it might be only a few weeks away but now from what I read it is looking like months . . .
