thanks for this post. i was on a low carb diet several years ago. went down from almost 200 lbs to 150, and in the last few years went back up to 175. that is when i decided i needed to do the low carb again. i'm down to 168.4 now but still have a ways to go to the 150. i would really like to get back down to 130, but that would be my long term goal. i'm 64 years old now. and for being that age, my health is not bad. but my blood pressure is a little high sometimes and my blood sugar was getting a little out of control. i knew low carb was the answer. so i appreciate this post, showing that we shouldn't give in. thank you again, for the encouragement in your post.
