ohh me too the same confusion. For me what i have taken from her book is not the plan but the knowledge. i have understood how important it is to balance everything we eat and the best explanation of insuline and adrenaline of any book.

No plan will work exactly from the book you have to make it work for your life.
I have also realised that no matter how many books you read about balance between carbs protein and fat, for people who are metabolically resistent induction level(atkin) and a little above is the only way to go. Also if you cannot tolerate low carb go reverse atkins. start with say 100g and keep reducing it untill you can loose weight. This is much much harder than atkins.

I would say read around there are many more plans if this seems confusing or try to see what is best for you within schwarzbein. But the goal is try and follow something.
