Just back from a lovely visit with our DD and DSIL in Nanaimo. He's in the throes of final report cards and has several difficult students, so he's agonizing over how to word things so the parents will pay attention and try to help their child, rather than get their back up and ignore the whole thing because obviously the teacher hates their wonderful child! Glad I never took up teaching!!

Anyway, we left him to his peace while we went golfing this morning, then we came home and we all went out for Father's Day brunch. All in all, it was a super weekend!!

See you all next week - the 28th at 5:30-ish. By the way, if anyone likes jazz, my son is playing in a free noon concert at Centennial Square next Sunday, the 27th for the Jazz Fest. He's widely recognized as one of the premier Jazz guitarists in Victoria (not to brag or anything )!
