the 5k obstacle course was amazing fun. i had a great time. it could have been a bit more organized. it took forever to check in and we weren't ready to go by the time the race started. other than that, the course was a good time. my sister in law and i estimated our finishing time, so i guess that's good enough. next year, we'll know for this particular race that being super early is a good idea.

how was your half marathon? will you be moving on to the marathon next year? my longest run is now 10 miles, so i'm thinking about signing up for a half marathon, but the season is winding down in nebraska.
