The first thing I think to ask is if you've been monitoring your blood sugar...is it stabalizing? The biggest thing I notice is that my spikes aren't so high when I'm excercising regularly. I take 1000mg of Met a day (and I'm horribly inconsistent about times). But, I also take some other supplements I OK'd with my doctor. Also, if you eat some onions, garlic, or something vinagery with your meals (like vinagrette dressing) it will help keep your blood sugar in bounds. Of course, maintaining your blood sugar helps you acheive a healthy weight. The best "advice" I ever have to give is to focus on your health and listen to your body. If you are eating healthy, working out, and your body feels better (you are getting more energy, etc), you are on the right track.
