Default "Smart Balance Rich Roast®" the ultimate Peanut Butter?

"Smart Balance Rich Roast®" the ultimate Peanut Butter?

For the present, all things considered and the SBRR product I would have to say -- Yes.

"Flax-seeds are the most concentrated source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), with an n-3:n-6 ratio of 4:1. One teaspoon of flaxseed oil contains 2.5 g of ALA." -- veganhealth.org/articles/alasources This 4:1 ratio should even please aj Flax oil is highly recommended by Richard Simmons too!

Yeah, I do know a peanut is not a nut, but a legume like a bean or pea.

As far as carby, OMO "Smart Balance Rich Roast®" is no worse than the best of the "full-fat" others. BTW: I don't like the messy, oily Organic ones in this hot climate.** SBRR uses palm and flaxseed oils, with cane and molasses for a little sweetener (maybe there is a Splendid version in the works?) If not, perhaps we should request it?!

The umami is fine, but I find the lingering mouth feel a bit mealy, especially right out of the fridge. I only have an occasional tsp or so now at room temperature, usually with coffee. Ty-he stuff is super rich, and it's very satisfying -- like a quality dark chocolate. Who knows you may just relish it as much as I? But not too much

** I just checked my SBRR product: 84*F in here and no oil separation at all in the half-empty jar I have on top of the fridge.
