This approach is what really works for me. Also, I don't deprive or punish myself if I slip up. I mainly avoid slip-ups or limit them to one off-plan indulgence while away from home by always having ''legal'' things I really enjoy like nuts, chocolate-CO bark, and full fat creamy salad dressings available. So most of my regular LC meals feel like decadent indulgences (esp. compared to my Pritikin/Ornish/McDougall days).
