Default well....

to be honest....my only reason and priority is to get pregnant. I feel being vegan is as healthy as it gets. So health is not the issue for me....but my infertility specialist diagnosed me with insulin resistance (after 7 yrs TTC) and started me on glucophage. He prescribed a low carb diet for me. To be honest (and probably bold to post here) alot of the ideas seem to be less than healthy on "adkins" type diets...so I am hesitant. I worry about the high intake of fats, oils and etc. But as I have said in other posts, the desire to finally have a baby (I have miscarried twice) overshadows some of the reservations I may have. I have found lots of good ideas in this forum....it is the best I have found. I am just trying to overcome some of my "set" ways of thinking, for me this is just a temporary way of life. I know that I will always need to "watch" my carb intake, but I don't intend to restrict myself quite as much as I am while I am TTC. I have alot of reservations....so I hope this makes some sort of sense to you!
