Turmeric
My doctor (an MD!) suggested I take turmeric for inflammation from a possible bone spur in my toe. I started taking one 500mg capsule a day and my BG - both FBG & between meals - has been steadily dropping.
This morning my FBG was 82!!!!! It's never been that low.
So I googled it & found it can reduce BG. Hooray! I've tried other things such as cinnamon & that thickener I can't remember the name of, but they didn't do anything for me.
Has anyone else tried it? Any long-term drawbacks?
