Yes, it was something like...our liver filters the excess insulin more at night and so taking the glucaphage then would give more of a benefit. It sounded wierd to me but I tried it and it seems to work. Hope this helps. Also the regular glucaphage made me sick so he has me on the XR (extended release) I don't know if it makes a difference.
