Why does the article make this seem like such an either/or proposition? They don't regulate what people eat in their off hours now, why should they start? A "change in nutritional guidelines" doesn't mean someone is going to follow you around with a ketone meter.

MREs and chow halls can significantly improve the nutritional content of what's offered and low carb diets can be supported and encouraged--the opposite of what's happening right now. Right now the nutritional guidelines encourage high carb and low fat. They're just suggesting a change in those guidelines to healthier low carb.
