Okay, I managed to "fast" for 24 hours. It didn't feel like it should count as a fast because the coffee with cream, the bouillion with butter felt substantial. But I felt wonderful. I guess the endorphins kick in when you do that ?.

P.S. I bought the iBook of Ketoclarity today and read the whole thing.
