Meme! I'm so glad iodine has worked for you too! It's amazing what a simple little pill can do. Now both my sisters have gnarly fingers from arthritis. Although I'm the youngest sister (by 17 months for one and just shy of 3 years for the other), I'm the one who had arthritis symptoms from an early age. They were blindsided by it. I guess I can't say with certainty it's the iodine that's stopped my fingers from being gnarly, but I believe in my heart of hearts that it is. Along with low carb, of course, but my sister who's 17 months older has been doing low carb for the last 2 years.

And you're giving me ideas. I know iodine nips my cold viruses in the bud, but I never thought about using it in any other way for respiratory ailments. I may try my youngest on iodine. He's got severe asthma. It'll have to wait for Christmas or summer break though as the transition could cause him sleeplessness or moodiness.
