Hey Broná,

just thought I might chime in here! I'm not sure if you're still having the constipation problems but I did too for a long while.

My cure was to start taking a Magnesium supplement - actually the Holland & Barrett calcium-magnesium-zinc ones. This has helped me dramatically, but I have to be religious about taking them every day, even two days without taking them and I'll know about it.

I'm not sure of the exact details of why magnesium helps, but I read somewhere that it stimulates the muscles/nerves and this helps your digestive system and bowels to be more active. I also read that, actually, constipation can be an indicator of magnesium deficiency. I don't stand over these explanations though, they could be wrong! I just know that this helped me a lot.
