Cauli bacon soup is one of my winter faves! I started making it because I'm regularly tempted at work by our potato bacon soup. You can take any potato bacon soup recipe pretty much, and sub cauliflower. I usually use frozen. The soup freezes really nicely. I just avoid adding cream and the bacon until it's ready to serve. The bacon can get rubbery.

Today's freezer use will just be some kitty mush to stretch out the expensive cat food. May as well not go to the pet store again until we have to.
