This is fascinating. Those of us who are old hands will be "but the science is more complicated than that." Which it is!

But people won't take in "science" the same way they do an informative story like this. And the author is improving her health.

Unfortunately, the Glucose Goddess knows how to get a mass message out when the mass is the one who needs to get the message. She doesn't sound like a con artist, and that's amazing, because we have plenty of doctors but I KNOW people usually won't find a video by a DOCTOR.

This was common wisdom when I embarked on Atkins in 2003 and if we can get people that far, the rest might follow.
