I have had the same experience with the annual physical with the traditional simple lipid panel. When I say I want actual results, not some that are estimated, and I want things like LDL particle size, and the degree of insulin resistance, it becomes a confusing request. I'm on the every-two-years plan as well. Coupled with the retirement of my regular GP and my reluctance to break in a new one, I've been purposely delaying. Thanks for the update.
