Diet seems to make a huge difference for most people. I have a handful of foods that trigger it for me. Low carbing made it worse because I started eating low carb products with lots of gluten, uncooked veggies and nuts.
Everyone is different but my trigger foods are:
nuts, many raw veggies, some coconut products, gluten (found in wheat and other grains), too many sugar alcohols
The way to figure it out is through trial and error, or an elimination diet.
What works for me is to eat nothing but meat/eggs and slowly, like every 4 days, try to add something else.
Dairy often makes constipation worse, especially cheese.
