I am feeling quite a bit better - only 48 hours; I like to think it is my healthy way of eating. I made my chicken soup today - pantry & freezer - chicken broth, homemade and home canned, coconut milk from the pantry, Thai curry paste, diverse spices from the spice cupboard, chicken & shrimp from the freezer, dried mushrooms from the pantry, fresh ginger, lime juice & zest from the basket on the counter. About half an hour, and I still have a bit for tomorrow. Had to make a few changes, not many. Used a cilantro "pesto" that I made a week or so ago instead of both fresh cilantro garnish & chopped fresh green pepper. And used more dried spices instead of fresh. But it was quite nice ... and I think the hot peppers were helpful.
