Charles Poliquin has a say in it too.
Cholesterol, as such, doesn't have much to do with the heart disease. Triglycerides are even more important as a marker.
Also take into the account that the correlation: high cholesterol - heart disease was established from the sample of AVERAGE people (not LC people by any means).
