Hmm, like what? I search a bit, and found stuff like starch, flavanoids, and even vitamin C.

and I have a minor in Arctic memoirs which quite firmly stated the Inuit, and the Europeans who adopted their ways, cured their scurvy by eating raw, fresh, meat.
