I would never have elimnated the soy in the first place. Soy is a great protein source. The problems that arise are when you take copius quantities of soy protein isolate.
There is nothing to link hypothyroidism to soy consumption. And certainly nothing remotely linked to breast cancer. If anything, soy is anticarcinogenic.
